Our Water Exploration Morning is off to a fantastic start. The children have found many different ways to melt the ice and are transporting water in different ways with different tubes and pipes. #water @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

Miss Murray told the children about her own running achievement from the weekend. She ran @RaceToTheStones 100km (62miles) along the UK’s oldest pathway, for @Tommys_baby. It was a tough challenge that needed lots of #resilience. #DreamBigDareToFail @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

We finally had a roll of the dice in attendopoly because our attendance was above 96%. We decided to have ice lollies instead of hot chocolate because the weather is so warm. What a lovely treat. #attendopoly @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

Sheldon even came out to meet the parents this morning. He was shy at first but he soon emerged from his shell to say hello and eat some sugar snap peas. #engagedcommunities @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

We are having a wonderful creative morning this morning with parents. Our theme is min-beasts and there are some fantastic butterflies, caterpillar and snail creations. #engagedcommunities @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

We have fond some amazing mini-beasts in our outdoors area. Freyah found a larvae and Shania found a pupa. We have decided to put the larvae back on a leaf to keep growing but we are going to keep the pupa to see it turn into a ladybird. #lifecycles @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine

What an exciting morning, two butterflies have emerged from their Chrysalis. We have put flowers and butterfly food into the net and have enjoyed watching it spread its wings. I wonder when the third butterfly will make an appearance. #lifecycles @OrchardPrimaryA @SouthPennine
