Inaccessibility for colourblindness is caused by design choices. A design issue, not an engineering issue. The fix is design choices, not engineering workarounds. Filters are inherently exclusionary, they aren't the answer. Fix the design instead of trying to fix people's eyes.
One of the most common complaints I hear about design systems documentation is that it’s too long.
“No one wants to read your component essay”
“It needs to be shorter or no one’s to read it”
But what if I told you the length itself was not the problem?

@JenBartram@remarkablepaper If you are already dragging round a pad, 100% go for it!
Just having a folder structure to my notes has been a game changer
@JenBartram@remarkablepaper It's USP is nice, but it means I need to drag around an extra device at all times. Plus no back light.
Writing on it is nice though, so I would need to get one of the writing screen protectors for the iPad.
And I would miss the e ink display. Much nicer on the eyes for reading
What a wonderful overview of what goes into an accessible design system (https://t.co/5ncMxWaj8B), by @iheni — from accessibility documentation to editorial style guide to screen reader UX and how to document it. #ux#accessibility
My first @GPCarnival at the weekend since moving to the area. Had no idea what to expect, but it was great fun. Perfect for the little one, with vegan waffles and real cider to boot. Already looking forward to next year.
@vmbrasseur@nearyd I have one of these pinned to the top of my browser. Absolute life saver for finding anything although the up keep can be annoying (imagine the same would be true with Trello)
@joelanman@leeporte We have an under the counter oven with a smaller top grill/oven combi and a bottom main oven. The "main" oven would probably struggle with a big item (think full Turkey for Xmas). But not a problem for us. We love it and for the most part only use the top part.
For those at the back: you don't need to compare making something "easy to use" with "your mum could use it". It's an outdated, lazy analogy to insinuate women/mums aren't technology literate. I'm a mum. I also have a computer science degree. And so do many, many others #uxdesign
@LCBFestival looking forward to attending tonight, but with the heat also wondering about hydration of the water type. Will there be water fountains or something similar? Can we take in empty water bottles to fill up?
Tell me civil servants: what makes you feel like you belong here? If you had to explain in your own words, what makes you feel connected to the civil service? What does it offer that no where else offers? Please RT for reach 🤩🙌 #civilservice

@KiddiesKingdom hello, how do I cancel an order? I ordered an "in stock" item but apparently it's now "awaiting stock" and the lead time doesn't meet my needs.
