Too much idealism leads to high expectations, and high expectations lead to disappointment.

Makenaizou, a symbol that emerged in Japan after natural disasters, means “the undefeated elephant” and stands for resilience. After the 1995 Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, survivors made and sold elephant-shaped items from donated towels to earn a living.
