For me, late 20s-30s is prime time to be a fan. Depends rin on your life stage but me for example I’m not yet married, no kids, settled into my career with disposable income.
Fandom gets stigma because of sexism and ageism but the way I explain it to my non fan friends is — this is my hobby. This is my luho, what I spend my fun money on. We all need something to do and love outside of work and what society dictates us to do. Something to make days worthwhile.
Other people spend on luxury items, travel, sports, etc. and when you look at the money, time, and effort they spend it’s comparable if not more. And mine is fangirling.
