recently met some new people and someone asked if I was in school or working. I told them I "just graduated", and pieters brother jumps in with "just graduated *doctorate*" 😅

one of my fav things is to replace "wireless" with "imaginary". Like "imaginary security" or "imaginary side channel attacks" hehehe

now that willy and i are both graduating it's going to be so sad not being roommates anymore :( :( :( :(

willy used to have this old laptop that'd act up a lot and it was so hard to help troubleshoot because EVERYTHING WAS IN FRENCH. it'd be like "hey willy can you go to settings and check blah" and he'd open settings and i'd stare blankly trying to figure out what blah is in french

oops was enjoying life for the past week and forgot to tell people... it's official! I'm going to be postdocing with Anna at Brown in the fall!! The group there is so amazing and wonderful words cannot express how excited I am AHHHHHHH 😭😭😭😭

was telling someone how excited i was that i got contacted by someone who implemented one of my things and dudes response was sorta "arent crypto things easy to implement?" and it was like nooo you're missing the point!! it's so cool someone cared enough to want to implement it!!

update: finally showed my advisor my working thesis title. he laughed and said "it's fine for the presentation, but...", so i think putting this in the official title is a no go
