#edutechau@eytanmessiah spoke of ‘flow’ - to lose yourself in learning, forget about the context of the classroom and the brief. Decontextualising learning experiences through pedagogy is an opportunity for students to dissolve the curriculum around them.

Seriously strong initiative from Vic Gov! We know that when we partner with quality practitioners, our classrooms flourish. Lots of birds, one stone. “New Victorian initiative will pay artists to work in schools for six months | ArtsHub Australia” https://t.co/gLnVVwScpG
Congratulations to the authors and advocates behind this draft #aboriginallanguages K-10. Was so insightful listening to all at last night’s @NewsAtNESA consultation. Great momentum around teaching/learning indigenous languages. Ought to be the norm! @bigibila 👏
Can you imagine how great Comic Blast would be in a classroom with 8-18 year old students? History assignments? Creative storytelling? I see so much potential for this to build up confidence in our next gen creatives: https://t.co/2NBwPC6vc1 #ProjectComicBlast#AdobeLabs

Sobering to hear from AEL Abhimanyu Basu about how to sustain and enrich his students’ learning through 6 continuous months (!!) of remote schooling in India and how his school was leveraging creativity in their teaching cultures #AdobeEduCreative
Great to hear from Adobe Education Leader Chico Nakagawa about some of the challenges in advocating for creativity based learning strategies with her students’ parents in Tokyo. Global momentum #AdobeEduCreative
Huge loss! He spoke plainly and with a kindness and clarity that affected students and their teachers deeply. Beyond this, Sir Ken articulated to our educational leaders that at the essence of vital teaching and learning is the creative drive in us all. This will echo forever!
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Sir Ken Robinson died peacefully yesterday, 21st August 2020, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.
We will be following up with a further update as we begin to follow Sir Ken’s wishes and honour his legacy.
Putting together our #shimpo wheel. Sometimes, specialised equipment and facilities (paired with a little old fashioned guidance) can truly unlock learning for young people. When students find themselves in the disciplines we model - everything is 👌 #arteducation#pottery
