@AskCapitalOne Capital One closed my Venture X card for no reason last year when I had 400k points and I still haven’t been helped properly I was overseas helping my family out with some bills and they claimed I used my credit card in a non personal card way SMH ridiculous

@CapitalOne closed my credit card account unexpectedly and without warning today. I had close to 400k miles saved and now they’re all gone. Does anyone know what I can do? Customer service seemed to just say I’m shit out of luck which is outrageous. Please help! 😭😤
@AskCapitalOne All I got was a message that said “We are closing this account because we have observed activity on your account that is not consistent with our expectations of usage for personal, family or household purposes.” No further explanation. It took me YEARS to accumulate ~400k miles.

@AskCapitalOne I started booking flights and Airbnbs in Asia. 2 days before my trip, my credit card stopped working and was “restricted”. I called multiple times and customer service just told me there was nothing I can do to get my account reopened or to get my miles back.
@AskCapitalOne For the past few weeks, I have booked flights and hotels and paid bills for my mom who is visiting me in the states from Asia.
Over the phone, I told them that I was traveling to Asia soon to visit her and planning to use the points and credit card while I was overseas.
@AskCapitalOne Ok I have sent a DM please help me unrestrict my account or at least get my ~400k miles back somehow. There was nothing I could do over the phone or on the website or app. I have paid my full account balance every month on time for years since I opened this account.
@AppleSupport I called @AppleSupport & they said because I’m not under “warranty” I’m basically SOL & it’s my fault that my battery expanded exploded on its own which is ridiculous then they told me I could go to a store that was closed to pay for a new battery but if it happens again oh well
