I made that tweet because I literally watched someone call a colleague; a Chief Product Manager, to recommend a designer he’d worked with for three years and could genuinely vouch for. The person on the other end simply said, “Send his email, I know people in the US who need designers right now.” Before we even left the coffee shop (in the evening!), the offer letter had already landed.

The speed of action alone was wild, but what truly blew me away was the net salary they were offering.

There are some things LinkedIn optimisation will never do for you. 😅
