Meanwhile I walk into Target and see six closed checkout lanes, one cashier, and a line at self-checkout.

I applied there. Filled out the online application, did the AI questionnaire, did two interviews, and waited four weeks for a rejection.

Then I went back to the same store and saw the same six registers closed and the same “NOW HIRING” sign on the door.

So which is it?

Nobody wants to work, or nobody can get through the machine built to hire them?

@StormwindZakuro @CenturiiC Thankfully at every point at which the gun is pointed at the user, there is no round in the chamber. The round doesn't start entering the chamber until the gun is pointed at the ground.

@CenturiiC Luckily, this wouldn't happen, because if the lever is out of position like that, then the chamber is open, the hammer can't strike the firing pin, the firing pin can't strike the round, the round itself is likely not even in the chamber, and so it can't actually fire.
