@justalexoki in case of shopping, i just evaluate everything i see and when i see smth i need, it kinda lights up like a quest item in a game.
in general, i don’t have any verbalized stream of thoughts but rather an internal video stream if it is not related to the present moment
it’s insane how inhibited i actually am when trying to promote what i do on social media when there are people following my accs whom i know from my irl/outside-art context 👹👹👹
“wHaT iF tHeY sEe aNd jUdGe” THIS IS MY ACCOUNT JC
@snarestick i didn't know you had an older acc but imo it's so cool when artists publish unpolished pieces/studies too, not only fully finished bits. as a fellow artist, it helps to see that we all do a lot of work and practice, and it motivates me to share my less perfect work too.
oftentimes i feel stuck in a vicious circle: my dependence on the positive feedback from social media my artworks receive acts like an inhibitor for my creativity because what's the point of putting in any effort if empirically i know there will not be as much attention as i want
