@KuKhahil I think along the same lines. We had a year of overachievement coupled with the yearly increasing malaise the players and coaches have with the regular season.
I do think it’s okay to be critical of recent performances but it’s not ok to say our window has closed
@SportsGrid@SportsGridTV@JoeRaineri I agree with what you’re saying Joe, but I wish the coaches heard a little bit more crap from fans/media about load mgt. Sometimes the sitting down was directed by them/upper mgt to stay fresh, esp
In multiple playoff/CF teams.
@jemelehill On one of those old NBA TV “Open Court” panel shows they talked about this with Dominique Wilkins. He basically said “I don’t think they want to know who the best is.”
He’s probably more right than wrong.
@AtoZ_Payton@DerySpeaks I think LaFleur (if fired), Harbaugh, and maybe McDaniel don’t have the stank attached to them to keep them from being immediate HC again. Doesn’t mean you don’t try, but not a slam dunk for any organization
@sportstalkmatt If Love hits that WR in the flat instead of going for a TD on 2nd & 10 it’s probably 3 & 4 with a running clock. Easier to convert 1st down or FG
@woodwardsports@nealruhl@NFL@Chiefs@Lions@dallascowboys@Eagles It will never happen. Not because it’s rigged, but because the NFL sees no upside. If some ref gets up there and parrots the things they say in a pool report, people would be even more upset.
Sadly, honest discourse doesn’t bring automatic trust.. or eyeballs and cash.
@DonnieRightSide Agree here too, sadly most owners/players don’t like to roll it back because $$$.
Maybe the W, still growing, will see the greater good.
@Parsons5216@LionsRoyalty@joshuahein Also, I agree you have to take Branch in 2nd round like they did, but I really wish we had that 5th year option. 😩
@RightSideVP Momentary viewership is fleeting. This too shall pass.
I think the league viewership has improved enough over the past few years not to overreact.
