@livforhoops The more I see your portal posts, the more I'm interested in the percentage of the returning roster that is left. Also what is the % of starters and role players that are in the portal for each team.
I would also like to know the grad percent for students w/ 1 or 2 transfers
@livforhoops It is really hurting HS recruits as well. Non-P5 players can transfer in the spring and participate in spring practice with schools. The impact is all over, not just HBCUs.
@livforhoops A HS football coach suggested kids are now using non-P5 schools like JUCOs, get tape out against tougher competition hoping they will get P5 looks and/or better NIL deals. The world we live in.
@livforhoops I work at a high school, all official accounts are created using district emails so our tech department can go in and always log in and adjust the password. Just curious, are there norms across media departments on the college level?
@Nick1112@drantbradley My school uses laptops/CB and they are great tools for us. We use platforms to provide students with immediate feedback, allows students to track their growth and progress, and other effective strategies. We still make Ss show work. Ss use only when needed. How we use it is key
@educator4ever36 My school (HS) has a teacher dedicated to writing IEPs and planning meetings.. We have inclusion teachers who work in specific content and learning strategies teachers. We are in year three of our shift.
@JonHaidt Not sure I agree with this general statement. My school has tools that allow the teachers to monitor what students see on their school device. Ts close out any tabs that are not appropriate. One2one has improved feedback to students. Ss don't use the Chromebooks unless required.
@rastokke Help me out, is there an article or place I can go to find strategies and approaches that are truly researched based? I have taken for granted that information I get from NCTM is researched based.
@rastokke I have enjoyed your posts over the holiday break. Your posts have introduced me to symbolic number skills and using the word confederate in research.
