@SplitCookie713@SaltyGoat17 The majority of the country runs on minimum wage, think we have that many teenagers? No, it's corporate greed that's:
1. Paying full grown, experienced adults the minimum wage, cos they can
2. Paying politicians to keep it that way
@ChrisMartzWX Capitalism put people on the streets, who in turn need welfare to survive. Capitalism lobbies against raising minimum wage to match inflation, so people working 3 jobs still need welfare to survive. Capitalism has consolidated wealth to the top, leaving us fighting for scraps.
@DinobackonX@DAKKADAKKA1 Would you rather government get a piece of the pie and some of it trickles down to us, or drug dealers and gangs taking it all
@MattWalshBlog My point is that this gotcha question appeals to emotion rather than logic, and making long term plans based on emotion is a terrible idea.

@MattWalshBlog - if I pay for it and my children inherits that boon, who pays for *their* children? Or is it that they have the same choice? That's fucked up then because you end up paying forever and no one receives the benefit.

@BrandoRepublic People usually see doctors for preventative care up there. Emergencies are seen immediately, urgent cases are seen within the day.
The wait times aren't directly due to socialism, but a lack of medical professionals. The US has the same shortage, but you can pay to get it faster
