I don’t like to compare and there is no reason anyway but since they are the same story I cant but to compare and if I would be force to choose one just for the fun of it, I would choose Troy over The odyssey

And finally, the biggest downside is Nolan and making things more complicated than they should be, it’s a simple straightforward story yet he sill force to add some complexity for the sake of complexity where it would have been much enjoyable keeping it direct.

The Odyssey, great movie over all but doesn’t reach perfection.
The filming is great, the colors the world the sea.
The acting is great specially Matt Damon, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t actually like this actor buy I loved him in this movie he was so humble

Tom Holland is another actor that I am not very fond yet he managed to deliver a serious a respectable performance.
The negatives are the dialogue, idk but something about the language it felt flat with no weight.
The thrill of the music is awesome but sometimes too loud
