In einer Gruppe für Schwerbetroffene berichtet eine Frau, dass sie seit 1993 (!) durch #MECFS zu 100% bettlägerig ist. Sie hat seither nicht mehr ihr Bett verlassen können, zuletzt war vor 20 Jahren ein Zahnarzt bei ihr.

@Damondyor around 170-200k for spinal surgery in the US (i’m from germany and they botched the last one) and theres only a handful of specialists, the best in the US. but we can’t afford it so it’s either that or i’ll die. (i’ve already been bedridden for over 2 years and getting worse)

@katiamek we didn’t have funds anymore which ruined a lot of progress and i have so many comorbidities so im still very severe but i crash maybe 3/4 times a year now when before i crashed several times a day.
