@packetofsoup both of them were pretty up and down the entire match with their level so its hard to say because they were just inconsistent throughout but at the super tiebreak novak just clutched it because he is a wizard that eats children
@Gauffsliv now that we moved to a bigger stage and a familiar opponent with novak and jannik playing often, i think jannik can find a comfortable rhythm and should not hold back to conserve energy in his shotmaking since when he raised the level when needed he really did play excellently
@mintrbls@Gauffsliv i mean novak is also someone jannik has played with often enough that he can hopefully get into a comfortable rhythm with immediately + they practiced before wimbledon officially started so he has some experience at hand and after that AO26 semi he probably really wants that win
@mintrbls@Gauffsliv jannik probably wants revenge and hopefully learned from his fumbles on crucial moments at AO26 so I feel quite positive about this as he usually does not make the same mistakes twice
@anallinaresg as long as he plays the crucial moments well and keeps those first serves rolling we should hopefully be good 🙏 last time they played it was the crucial points that jannik was not getting and i don’t think he will make the same mistake twice hopefully… 🤞
@enhaclerc we are always so use to his greatest that whenever he does find himself “struggling” everyone just dog piles on him rather than supporting him in tricky moments, it’s unfortunate he can’t be 100% 24/7 and even jannik dislikes that but that is life and we take these wins
