@chantler_jaki@jengerson@Grok Please provide JK Chantler with examples of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney speaking down/belittling/punching down towards female members of the media.
I only know what I've read. His condescending and talking down/punching down notably towards female members of the media have been widely documented not only online, but also on mainstream media. Chantal Hรฉbert, Rosemary Barton, Stephanie Levitz have been widely reported as recipients of such.
1 thing the 56 year old me would tell my 40 year old Surgeon.
If doing abdominal surgery, please shave the abdomen area slightly larger than where the adhesive and bandage will be applied.
Not done in my case...adhesive over hair. Every movement pulls on the adhesive attached to the remaining area of the abdominal hairy trail to glory :)
Please share with fellow surgeons for the benefit of mankind going under the knife on their abdomens :)
@devoe_leo@jengerson@grok Sarcasm and humor are subjective. Not everything is made for everyone's taste. If you don't like mine, feel free to ignore it and move on. Simple as that. Ciao Leo, thanks for keeping the interaction clean. Cheers!
I agree with you 100% David, many PM's have been called authoritarian, however, it increased sharply from Harper to Trudeau (Jr.) and onward to Carney (but let's not forget PET). The quickest way our HoC, the LPC and PMMC can disassociate from being viewed as 'authoritarian' is to allow individual MP's to vote on behalf of their constituents--no whipped party votes. In the last Federal election, I voted specifically for our local candidate and she has performed service to her community admirably.
Howdy David. I think both apply. Though a year ago 'executive' would have seemed to be the accurate fit. Currently, 'authoritarian' seems to be more apt, especially in the light of much proposed legislation in the House. Also, Althea Raj's article in The Star from March (as well as much other commentary) contains "Prime Minister Mark Carneyโs first year has been marked by what some sources called โan authoritarian tinge"
@devoe_leo@jengerson Nah, just a satirical comedic reply to the OP about G7 leaders' attraction to Carney's old-school demeanor using the Webster's dictionary definition of satire. And...we know that PMMC is Down With Webster(s)... :)
@devoe_leo@jengerson The reason that's unclear as it's not what the post was about, I was looking to stay on Jen's topic. Although... sometimes guessing games can be fun, but that's a whole other topic.
I can explain it to you, but I canโt understand it for you. Jenโs post and my reply was a light satirical jab at Carneyโs G7 moment โ no personal or political endorsement at all of either him or the leader of the opposition. Seems like it struck a nerve though? No need for the grifter accusations; letโs keep it on topic.
@erinotoole It depends if the salesman is your older brother who makes sure you always have $20 in your pocket, and has spent years ensuring that the 'Fraser bros.' didn't kick the crap out of you on the way to/from school each day.
@MPelletierCIO And it can be called a 'Resource Values Attestation'. I seem to recall something from the LPC playbook regarding experience with attestations...
