Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.

Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.

Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.

When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.

Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.

‘अब्बू… ट्रेन में सब मुझे मार रहे हैं’, आख़िरी संदेश भेजने के बाद लापता हुआ 20 वर्षीय मदरसा छात्र

बिहार के गोपालगंज ज़िले के रहने वाले 20 वर्षीय फैज़ान अहमद शाह के लापता होने का मामला सामने आया है. परिवार का आरोप है कि Mau से घर लौटते समय Purvanchal Express में कुछ लोगों ने उनके साथ मारपीट की.

फैज़ान उत्तर प्रदेश के Mau ज़िले में स्थित जामिया अमजदिया घोसी मदरसे में पढ़ाई करते हैं और ईद-उल-अज़हा की छुट्टियों में घर लौट रहे थे. परिवार के मुताबिक, बेल्थरा रोड पार करने के बाद और सलेमपुर स्टेशन पहुंचने से पहले उन्होंने अपने पिता को एक आख़िरी मैसेज भेजा:
“अब्बू, यहां झगड़ा हो गया है… ट्रेन में सब मुझे मार रहे हैं… मैं छिपकर मैसेज कर रहा हूं.”

इसके बाद उनका फोन बंद हो गया और तब से उनका कोई पता नहीं चल सका है. परिवार ने फुलवरिया थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है. पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की हर पहलू से जांच की जा रही है.
