Brazilian journalist Isabela Pagliari, who brought Neymar's jersey to Michael Olise after the Union Berlin game, explains to @BILD how the meeting came about and how she managed to make the Frenchman, who usually doesn't like interviews, 'open up':
"I wouldn’t say that I got him to open up. Only Michael can explain why he felt comfortable talking to me at that particular moment. I can only describe how I approached him. I had been told beforehand that he would probably just accept Neymar’s shirt that I had brought for him, say thank you and walk away.
A week before I left for Germany, I was at the gym scrolling through Instagram. I saw that Olise had answered a question about his GOAT with ‘Neymar’. I immediately messaged Neymar and told him about it. We know each other well from his time in Paris. Within three days, a new shirt, specially signed for Michael, arrived at my place. Neymar then asked me for something in return: one of Michael’s shirts.
When Michael arrived, the camera was already rolling. The first thing I asked was, ‘Can I give you a hug?’ He said yes, so I hugged him and then handed him Neymar’s shirt. I think the fact that we had met before helped make the interaction feel more natural. But the gesture was genuine. I wanted to give him something meaningful, and I didn’t want to use the shirt as a means of getting an interview.
After the game, I interviewed Kane and Saibari, but Michael still hadn’t shown up. I told Saibari that I wanted to give Michael a shirt signed by Neymar, and I asked him if he could let Michael know. He immediately said, ‘I’ll go and tell him.’ And he went back inside.
I was told that he doesn’t do that to create a certain image for himself. Rather, he is naturally a quiet, reserved and shy person. When he is surrounded by people he knows, he can naturally show more of himself.
It was a very brief interaction. What I remember most is the moment itself. Michael seemed genuinely happy when he received the shirt. He smiled, appeared relaxed, and immediately went to get one of his own shirts and signed it for Neymar."

Imagine if we listened to everyone who told us there was no point in calling for a boycott of the UAE. Keep boycotting and keep talking about Sudan. Thank you @zaralarsson for listening to Sudanese voices 🇸🇩🩷
