I spent 20+ years building software. Then I got laid off. Now I trade NQ.
I’ve been trading futures for a few years but I'm still working on consistency.
Reading charts is one thing. Managing risk and staying patient is where I still struggle.
Here to exchange ideas and share a few thoughts while I figure this out.
@dontbsalti@THouseTraders Right, they’re not. I suspect the narrative shifts depending on which audience they’re trying to attract. Business is business.
@dontbsalti@THouseTraders Yes, I agree with you when it comes to beginners. From that perspective, the message is misleading. But the idea itself is still valid if you know what you’re doing.
Today I lost @Topstep 6K challenge and five evals. I got my daily bias wrong and let my emotions take over. The weather is nice and the grass is still green.
My experience with Tumi backpacks has been mixed. Generally, they’re overpriced for the functionality they provide. But for a one-time purchase like this, I wouldn’t tie it to a specific net worth. If you can comfortably afford it and want one, buy it.
There are better alternatives on the market though. My current choice is Black Ember. I own two versions of their Citadel backpack and love them.
