@KurdistanWatch It has a ton of mistakes. Like amateur level ones. Examples; Bashiqa was taken by Shia militias during the listed offensives. The territories across the Tigris on the border with Syria were liberated in 2003, not 2014. It conflates disputed areas with the expansion in 2014.

@Gargaristan It's cause he wasn't elected but installed by the US post invasion. AFAIK Mayors don't get elected in Iraq they're selected by the largest political party. In Alqosh that's the KDP due to a lack of decentralisation. The comparison with the Kayums in Bakur doesn't hold water.
