A 5-year-old boy, Ntobeko Simphiwe Xaba, has been missing since Friday, August 22, 2025, after being last seen playing outside his home in Umlazi's Q Section. He was wearing a yellow track top and navy blue shorts. A neighbour is suspected of abducting him and has since fled. Witnesses reported seeing her with the child. The boy's mother received a ransom demand of R50,000 for his safe return. Anyone with information is urged to contact Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at 086 1234 333.
