When they said they were banning accounts that purchased NSFW art commissions, they apparently meant even past NSFW commissions.
This money is for my mother & now it's being held for 180 days?
@PayPal, this is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be making another account with you & I will never use your service again. This is a joke & I feel awful for anyone, including artists, who have to use your garbage.
Dear artists...
If your clients give you references with heavy lighting or ambient lighting and you cant seem to get the right skin tone...
THROW FLESH CUBES AT THEM AND HAVE THEM PICK ONE.
I've been using these for years and I've never had anyone tell me I've gotten their skin tone wrong.
When in doubt skin cubes.
I have no idea if the artist who made these has an X but their username at the time these were posted to deviant art was Puppsicle.

How to stay sane VTubing for a living!
(From a full-time Vtuber and manager)
1 - Let people know you are in it full-time:
Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day.
They are who made you.
2 - Be greatful:
Don't whine about failures, celebrate the times you get back up. Nobody likes consistent negativity on their feed. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH.
3 - Budget properly:
Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc.
4 - Be friendly, not a pushover:
Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set.
Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no.
It's your space, curate it to your needs.
5 - Work hard and reflect:
Nobody wants to admit they have been lazy or could have done more, but sometimes it's good to admit to yourself that you were expecting too high a number for the content you put out.
It sucks, but looking into your weaknesses as well as strengths is the only way to do better in the future.
6 - Make time:
Don't spend 12h a day streaming when you get paid less than minimum wage per hour, stop burning yourself out for zero discoverability.
Your time is better spend brainstorming and creating more off-stream content, looking at other streamers content and learning from those that came before you. Your time is so valuable, don't waste it.
7 - Finally: You are a person off-stream!!!
Eat, drink, workout, socialize if you can. Have secrets. Have a life, friends and interests outside of stream.
You don't need to share everything with your chat and community, and likewise you DON'T have to share your VTubing journey with your family if they don't need to know.
If it's full-time, it's a job, there needs to be a step back at the end of the day, for your own sanity.
Hope this reaches those that want to go full-time as a VTuber!!!
It’s a little long. I know I don’t need to share this but it’s been on my mind for a while and I kept trying to figure out how to get my thoughts translated to words.
Maybe there are creators who relate. Thank you for reading! I promise it’s nothing bad. 🌿
@AeluxArctail@Twitch On Twitch itself I received a notification about 16 hours ago (if you click the notification it takes you to the application page). So others should already see them or be seeing them soon.
This is me telling anyone who creates content on YouTube to go immediately and turn off the new AI functions that allow YouTube to train your videos and turn off video remixing on each upload. They are now pushing a Remix function that works off of this.
A week ago, a viewer by the name of dr_death2004 charged back nearly $1.5k in donations he had sent me over the last few months and @Twitch@TwitchSupport does not care. At least 5 other streamers (some of which will be tagged below per their request) are also affected, and between all of us he has charged back over $2k in donations.
This was not a random scammer. This was a community member who was well established, and showed no red flags. He even had become friends with some of my mods. These donations took place over the course of months, and he even donated to people whom I raided (which are now unfortunately dealing with chargebacks as well.) On May 21st I received $400 in chargebacks through paypal from disputes on donations through my tip page. I ran to twitch, where most of his donations were, and money seemed unaffected (initially) which was a relief. As of two nights ago, this has changed. As you can see in my attached statement, I am down almost $900. Bits are currently unaffected, however he has donated 100k to me alone.
On May 21st the YT and Twitch account of dr_death2004 for were deleted, which led me to believe he filed chargebacks there as well. It took time for twitch to process things, but now that the money is missing I can confirm that is what happened. So far this viewer still has X and Discord, but has not been active or responding on anything.
Thanks to the paypal dispute, I can see he filed the charges as unauthorized/fraudulent (ie stolen card). I, as well as the others affected, have tons of proof that this is not the case. Not only do we have proof he was an active community member and consensual donor, but we also have personal info that proves it was his card being used. Because he was a friend to my community, we know his irl name which aligns with the name on the paypal disputes and other charges.
Despite providing twitch with this information, I have been entirely brushed off. Rather than actually responding to my ticket, they simply parroted the definition of what a refund is and why it happened. They mention an investigation, but it was obvious that none was conducted. Considering all of my evidence, as well as the other streamers involved, it is very obvious that his claims are all BS.
I don't know about you guys, but $1.5k is a lot of money to me. It is nearly my entire rent, and now it is gone. I fortunately still have enough to get by, but this should NOT be allowed (especially considering many donations are over 30 days old). I can't believe how twitch is handling this either, hence deciding to go public despite my initial desire to resolve things privately.
I don't like drama. I debut in less than a month, and this situation is not what I want to be known for. Despite that, the economy is bad and there are a lot of people being hurt over this. I have confirmed myself and 5 others are affected, but who knows how many others are too?
If dr_death2004 sounds familiar, please check your twitch payouts. If you have been affected, please reach out to me as I have a GC going with all affected streamers. No one deserves to go through this nightmare.
I have been struggling to sleep for days and am sick to my stomach with anxiety wondering what is going to happen next.
Twitch needs to step up and find a better system to protect their streamers, because this is ridiculous. I am not the first person who has been wrongfully charged back, nor will I be the last. There needs to either be an insurance policy in place for streamers, or twitch needs to get it together and do actual investigations rather than instantly siding with anyone who files a chargeback.
I saw a tweet a week ago of someone named @Hawkblooo dealing with a similar situation for $600, so this is no new problem. Twitch has enough money, and should be honoring everyone's payout. I can't believe this nightmare.
Likes and retweets are appreciated to not only spread the word, but also to try and get twitch to do something about this BS.
The other affected streamers who have consented to being included in this post are @SwirlSiren46089, @KimeraChimeraVT, @DulceMizudori, @bubbelbuzz, and @Ervsona
@RealEmirHan Super Bowl XLI (51 for those who don't speak Roman) but more specifically the (almost) electrifying halftime show in 2007 . . . This was the greatest halftime show of all time with Prince playing electric guitar on live television in an effing downpour.

@WATCHHOLLIE I mod for 2 streamers. Recently I've seen viewers who've been following for 5 years or more post for the first time.
A lot of them say they usually lurk but, came in to say how much they enjoy the streamer's content keeping them company while at work or doing chores.
"Small creator" culture has genuinely warped how people view success
Someone can have:
- Hundreds of active chatters across a month
- Thousands of followers
- People making fanart
- Community literally WAITING for you to stream
but still feel like they're "failing" because they don't average 100+ viewers?
Streaming is one of the only spaces where people convince themselves that having even a handful of people consistently showing up for YOU somehow isn't impressive
Please stop reducing your worth to your CCV
hayo! plz help me🥹 school is coming and I need to save up at least $500 for school expenses and rent, I'm open for commissions! below are the samples, I'm also open for emote and eye banner comms. I also have my custom inquiry open u name ur budget, any amnt would help🙏🏻
@zachbussey I'm not a streamer ( yet) but I guess I'm confused by the difference between a big streamer's incoming raid and viewbotting.
How can I determine the difference on mine or streams I mod for?
