I deeply appreciate her gesture and, more importantly, her decision to put the contest behind and embrace a new chapter of unity and collaboration.

During our meeting, she declared her support for my campaign and pledged to mobilise her followers in support of our collective effort ahead of the election.

This is a new chapter, and I am confident that by working together, we can continue to advance the interests of our people. The contest may have ended, but our shared responsibility to our people remains.

The Journey Begins Today!

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our collective journey. As the political campaign officially begins, I humbly present myself to the people with a renewed sense of responsibility, commitment and determination to serve.

This campaign is not just about an election; it is about the future we desire and the work we must do together to build a stronger, more prosperous and united constituency.

I am deeply grateful to our people for their continued trust, support and encouragement. I will continue to engage with you, listen to your concerns and present a vision anchored on quality representation, meaningful development, empowerment and service to the people.

As we embark on this journey, I call on our supporters, leaders, youths, women and all well-meaning members of our constituency to join hands with us. Let us conduct our campaign with respect, decency and a clear understanding that, beyond politics, we are one people with a shared future.

Today on the floor of the House of Representatives, I moved a Motion of Urgent Public Importance calling for immediate Federal Government intervention following the devastating flood and erosion that recently affected communities across Ile-Oluji, Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency.

The torrential rainfall recorded between July 8 and 12, 2026, left a trail of destruction displacing families, destroying homes, washing away farmlands, damaging roads and drainage infrastructure, and disrupting the livelihoods of countless residents. The suffering of our people demands urgent action, and I remain committed to ensuring that their voices are heard at the national level.

I am pleased that the House unanimously adopted the motion and resolved to urge the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to provide immediate relief materials, temporary shelters, medical care, psychosocial support and rehabilitation for affected residents. The House also called on the Federal Ministries of Works, Water Resources and Sanitation, and other relevant agencies to rehabilitate drainage systems, desilt waterways, and implement lasting flood control infrastructure across our constituency In addition, the House directed the immediate dredging of River Olore to improve the free flow of stormwater and reduce the recurring incidence of flooding in our communities.

I sincerely appreciate the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON, for his leadership and for commending the motion, as well as my distinguished colleagues for their overwhelming support. I assure the good people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency that I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the implementation of these resolutions and pursue every necessary intervention to safeguard lives, protect livelihoods, and promote the sustainable development of our communities.

It was a privilege to represent the Speaker of the House of Representatives, @Speaker_Abbas
Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD, GCON, at the unveiling of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria (KSM) Endowment Fund and Charity Initiative held in Abuja. The event brought together members of the Supreme Council, the Catholic faithful, and distinguished guests in celebration of a visionary initiative designed to institutionalise charity and ensure sustainable humanitarian service across Nigeria.

In the Speaker's goodwill message, I conveyed the House of Representatives' appreciation for the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria's over seven decades of unwavering commitment to faith, compassion, education, healthcare, youth development, prison apostolate, and support for the vulnerable. The Speaker commended the establishment of the Endowment Fund as a forward-looking model that will preserve capital while deploying investment returns to sustain charitable interventions for generations to come.

I also reiterated the commitment of the House of Representatives to promoting laws and oversight that encourage philanthropy, strengthen transparency and accountability in charitable institutions, and foster partnerships between government, faith-based organisations, the private sector, and civil society. Nation-building is a shared responsibility, and organisations like KSM continue to demonstrate the transformative power of service, sacrifice, and responsible stewardship.

I congratulate the Supreme Council and the entire membership of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria on this remarkable milestone. May this endowment fund continue to grow from strength to strength, touching countless lives and serving as a lasting legacy of Christian charity, peace, justice, and national development.

Education remains one of the most enduring investments we can make in our future. Every child deserves to learn in an environment that inspires hope, dignity, and excellence.

I am delighted to share the completion of the renovation of Ajue Grammar School, in Odigbo Local Government, in our beloved Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency. This project is more than the rehabilitation of a building; it is a renewed commitment to our children, our teachers, and our communities.

Every renovated classroom represents hope restored, every improved learning space reflects our belief in the potential of our young people, and every investment in education strengthens the foundation of a better tomorrow.

I remain committed to supporting initiatives that improve access to quality education and enhance the learning environment across our constituency. Together, we are building not just classrooms, but brighter futures for generations to come.

On Friday, our people from Agbabu, Ago-Alaye, Ajue, Araromi Obu, Ayesan, Onisere, Ebijan, Koseru, Odigbo, Ore, Oniparaga, Ileoluji and Oke-Igbo came out en masse to give me a warm and overwhelming welcome.

I sincerely thank them for the love, trust, and confidence they continue to place in me. I assured them of my unwavering commitment to continue working tirelessly in the interest of our people and to justify the confidence they have reposed in me.

I also expressed my profound appreciation to our President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, our governor, Hon. Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, my capacity leader, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, other leaders across the constituency, the leadership of our great party in Ondo State, and all members of our party throughout the constituency for their steadfast support and commitment to our shared vision.

Together, we will continue to work for the progress, unity, and prosperity of our constituency and Ondo State.

I also extend my deepest appreciation to the leadership of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), our traditional rulers, stakeholders, party faithful, supporters, and the good people of our Federal Constituency for your overwhelming support during the just-concluded primary election.

I am profoundly grateful for your prayers, wise counsel, encouragement, and tireless efforts, all of which were instrumental to this victory. I also appreciate the unwavering commitment of my indefatigable media team, whose dedication and professionalism greatly contributed to the success of our campaign.

This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every one of us. I do not take your confidence, sacrifices, and trust for granted. I reaffirm my commitment to serving you with humility, diligence, transparency, and integrity. I also wish to salute and appreciate my brothers and sister who contested alongside me: Rt. Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, Hon. Dr. Felder Olatunji Adeoye, Hon. Simisola Ajayi Fajemirokun, Hon. Olumoyegun Gbenga, and my dear brother, Hon. Oyerinmade Mathew (MATO).
