Real estate developer Bob Rennie the "condo king," in 2025 on a little-known real estate podcast, hosted by the Vancouver Sun, claimed he was working with Mark Carney on a condo bailout proposal recently announced. Carney last week says he did not "directly" talk to developers even though there were Liberal fundraisers organized with this developer.

Rennie told the panel: “I’m working with Carney – surprise – and I’m trying to get a rental program in where people can buy...let’s allow foreign buyers to buy it; they have to rent it out for 25 years and it will show the world we are open for business..."

Did Prime Minister Mark Carney lie about talking to developers and why is the corporate legacy media not using this podcast quote to do an obvious follow up with the Prime Minister?
