“I will never say that I’m better than Kobe…
By the second or third championship, Kobe’s probably the best player in the game.”

1985: Michael Jordan in the Black and Red Jordan 1s
One of the most famous shoes in sneaker history: the Bred 1s. Back in the 80s, NBA players had to abide by the 51% rule. Their shoes had to be at least 51% white and match the rest of the team colors.
The NBA prohibited MJ to wear the black and red colorway. Contrary to popular belief, there is no evidence that Jordan ever wore them in an official game.
The only time he ever rocked them on court was on February 9, 1985 in the Dunk Contest. MJ gliding through the air in gold chains and Bred 1s—as timeless as it gets.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘85 OG Breds are out now for All-Star Weekend.
Get them on @goatapp 👟
by far the worst part of the NBA product… everything around fouls
- players baiting for foul calls
- players complaining when they don’t get calls
- refs calling everything a foul
all of it ruins the game
rappers talk about hov the way hoopers talk about kobe. civilians have their reasons why he's not the goat but there's no debate from the folks actually trying to do what he does
