@harkintranslate These things happen in translation exams as well, with the added impact that the translator would lose points and/or, worse still, fail the exam because of arbitrary decisions made by the proofreader/grader. #xl8

@harkintranslate Sounds great in theory. But what if the proofreader repeatedly replaces words with synonyms at will, forgets to check edits against the context AND adds typos to FINAL versions? I’ve seen it all too often in English-Portuguese financial translations for big #xl8 agencies.

@cariobana Re images and #SEO: Google is actively promoting the use of “next-generation” image file formats, and this is already a ranking factor right now, so that JPG is not the best option for website images. #xl8
