We discussed the possibilities for gas supplies to Ukraine and opportunities for countering security challenges with the President of Mozambique, @daniel_chapo24. Ukraine is interested in additional energy supplies. Mozambique is interested in Ukraine's experience and technologies to strengthen its internal security and protect people from terror. We also discussed possible cooperation in the areas of digitalization and food security. We agreed that our teams will work together.

Russia escalates its terror against Ukraine and this needs to get a strong response from our allies.

For the first time, more than 800 (!) drones and missiles overnight. Civilians killed and injured, civilian infrastructure damaged in Kyiv, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, among other cities.

For the first time since the beginning of full-scale war, Russia damaged the Ukrainian Government building in Kyiv. This alone is a serious escalation.

The greatest cynicism is that these brutal attacks come just as President Trump makes every effort to achieve peace. But instead of reciprocating these efforts and agreeing to a leaders’ meeting, Putin rejects diplomacy and escalates terror.

Only pressure on Moscow can end its escalation of terror. The Russian war machine runs on oil and gas revenues. We urge our allies to defund it in order to end the war.

Russian terror “anti-records” require strong responses. New severe sanctions on Russia and new strengthening for Ukraine, particularly in air defense. Waiting will not bring results—action is needed now.

This is how the headquarters of Ukraine’s government now looks after this morning's Russian attack. Our whole team works in this building daily. Fortunately, no one was injured. Russian barbarism will not halt the work of Ukraine’s government.

The walls will be repaired, they are only bricks, but the lives of our people can’t be restored. In this night’s Russian attack 4 people killed and 44 injured.

What is clear is that Russia does not want peace.

I urge the world to turn outrage over Russian crimes into concrete support for Ukraine. Not for the walls of this building, but to protect our people and communities across the country.

We need stronger air defense – more systems and more ammunition – to shield our cities and our energy system as winter approaches. We need tougher sanctions that will deprive the aggressor of oil and gas revenues, the very resources funding its terror.

Only by standing strong and united can we bring an end to Russian aggression and secure peace.

I had a call with Foreign Minister of Brazil Mauro Vieira to discuss the recent diplomatic activities to stop Russia’s war against Ukraine.

I informed about Ukraine’s position and underlined that a full and durable ceasefire is essential to advancing peace efforts.

I also noted that support of such countries as Brazil is important in making Russia agree to a ceasefire and start substantive peace talks.

It is crucial to mobilize international efforts now to achieve a just and lasting peace.

We also discussed the bilateral agenda, positive dynamics of trade between our countries, prospects for further cooperation, and political dialogue at the highest level.
