@GhostRecon temp fix has always been to disable hyperthreading, luckily AMD systems aren’t affected by the long load times but damn, after all this time and it’s finally being addressed in some way lmao
minisforum should make another mini-itx board with this, i missed out on their last board with an x3D chip and i just have 32gb of ddr5 sodimm sitting around doing nothing
ngl out of all of the indie mecha games that have available public playtests out rn, the only ones that genuinely feel good to me are RIG Riot, Omega Phenex, and Armed Frame
Aside from other news, Obsidian employees appear to have been told all the company’s projects were “re-evaluated” today.
It seems Grounded is still going (mostly out-sourced in Eidos Montreal anyway, so no surprise), Outer Worlds 2 expansions still planned for now (1st one is Sept), and uh, despite reports, Avowed 2 is STILL being worked on (for now) in the hopes of being “re-pitched” (whatever that means).
All other projects at the studio, including the rumored Shadowrun game John Gonzalez was on, were put on pause.
Edit: No mention of any Pillars of Eternity games, so if Avowed 2 doesn't get a buyer/approval, looks like may be some time (or never) before another Pillars game or PoE3.
@Hihsasuke I did see that, ngl I thought it was a Mechabreak update trailer when I first saw it 💀
The Ryujin questline is pretty good, although when I first played through it I ran into a bug that softlocked the second to last quest and had to use console to fix it, so that was fun 😂
@Hihsasuke I did play Mechabreak for a hot minute, then I stopped playing bc I realized I was still looking for a mecha game that has that feeling of Armored Core combat
As for Starfield I have about 150hrs on it when I first played in the initial months but I haven’t played the DLCs lol
