Created and rendered a concept of Teenage Engineering inspired mechanical keyboard with only two prompts using Otto, our new agent at @super8_design.

Otto has full context of the canvas it works on, can create nodes and generate prompts. It's has a built-in taste layer that allows it to one-shot incredible photography using reference moodboards.

we built a creative director agent on it and let it run super8's canvas by itself.

Fed it a @nothing headphone and a mood board. It planned the shot, built the nodes, ran the pipeline, delivered the visuals live on the canvas. All on super8. all alone.

No prompts. No clicks. One image in, a full campaign out. the agent opens the canvas, thinks like a director, chains multi-layer workflows, and ships. This is not a demo. this is the product.

Building @super8_design with @plsoulie . We're a tiny team cooking something that feels like magic. Gen AI stopped making images, it started making campaigns. the rest of the category is about to feel very slow.

AI can generate a perfect product shot in seconds. It still takes me 3 hours to get there.

Over the last 8 months, Kush and I built consumer hardware at Fable: AR glasses, smart rings, robot vacuums, connected toys.

At every step, we needed stunning product visuals. So we became power users of every AI visual tool out there: Nano Banana, Flux, Vizcom, Krea, Midjourney, Higgsfield. We know every workflow, every workaround, every limitation.

The honest truth? The experience is broken.

We're spending hundreds a month across 5–6 disconnected tools. Manually orchestrating every step. Regenerating everything from scratch whenever a material changed or a brand direction shifted. Losing all context at every handoff.

The output quality is there. AI-generated visuals that are indistinguishable from a professional studio shoot. But the process to get there? Duct tape and patience.
