Personal opinion on Nemesis:
I understand that the season finale didn’t meet everyone’s personal expectations, but saying it’s a bad episode isn’t true either.
I think it’ll be one of those episodes that, over time, people will realize was underrated
Secret Protocol was psychological horror — Lila’s plan in motion.
Nemesis is action and strategy — Marinette’s plan
You might prefer episode 25 because of that difference, and that’s totally fine. But the second one shouldn’t be looked down on just because it didn’t follow the same approach
It’s literally about seeing how the heroine and the villain operate mentally: one relies on action-driven plans, and the other creates fear
It’s the FIRST attempt at a direct encounter with the Butterfly holder. They need to learn things that we as viewers already know, but the characters do NOT.
It’s important that they found out that she can change her appearance without limits, that she burned information that could expose her, and now they have to build a strategy based on that.
On Adrien’s side of the plot, Alya has already given Marinette an ultimatum about telling her boyfriend the truth, and he’s now even more alert about what she’s hiding because of the torn drawing.
It’s a finale for the first part of the story, so it sets the foundation for what Season 7 will be.
I loved it, it’s a fitting ending for this season
