Does everyone know how to make their own custom Twitter List to see what they want to see? As Elon makes the algorithm worse and worse I'm using lists more and more so I see the stuff I'm actually interested in instead of Zionists and engagement bait and junk.
Lists are great if you have a limited number of go-to accounts you want to make sure you see the tweets of for news updates or whatever, rather than relying on the worthless algorithm in the "For You" tab or seeing every single tweet by every single person you follow in the "Following" tab.
Here's how you do it:
1. Go to Lists and select the New List option.
2. Name your list. Check "Make private" if the list is for your own personal use and/or if you don't want people to be notified when you add them, then click "Next".
3. Search for the accounts you want on your list and click "Add".
4. Now you can add accounts to your list by going to their Twitter page and clicking "Add/remove from lists," adding them by selecting the name of the list you made.
And you're done. Now you can go to your list whenever you want to see the content you're actually here for, either by going to "Lists" and clicking yours or by using a bookmark.
If you find it useful, here's a public list I've made with a bunch of accounts who help me stay on top of what's going on: https://t.co/EdXNYy2LPt
“The one moment of light during the @Primavera_Sound storm was sharing time with our guest Arab Barghouti, who we’d invited to speak on behalf of his father Marwan to appeal for wide international support for his release.” - Robert Del Naja, @MassiveAttackUK

The UK is drafting a law to jail tech execs for 5 YEARS if they refuse to build scanners that scan EVERY photo, video & message on your phone.
Refuse the backdoor = go to prison.
All while screaming "think of the children."
There is such a fundamental failure to understand how the political project that delivered us Starmer despises accoubtability journalism and the privacy it relies on, and how it has genuine, censorious disdain for divergent views. They literally targeted multiple journalists, including me, and reported us to the security services for investigating their unlawful conduct!
You think a government that bans Palestine Action and arrests thousands of protectors for speech won't use these systems for uses beyond protecting children? You think a government introducing untested AI into every aspect of our life cares about online harms? You think a government that sends arms to Israel as it kills babies and children in Gaza and Lebanon cares about child safety?
What's happening is that the people who supplicated before Mandelson despite his connections to Epstein are using justified fears of child exploitation to force through the worst provisions of the original, deplorable Online Safety Act through the backdoor, and then handing a system of algorithmic surveillance to the rising far right, who will turn it on people protecting migrant rights and other vulnerable populations. These sorts of systems are already being used by the US to identify anti-ICE protectors. For Gods sake, this last week the right have been building consent to make it harmful to even address systemic racial inequalities!
Mahmood, Starmer and this government are democratic vandals, and it is so on-brand that they're pushing through monumental, transformative policies just as they're about to be be booted out of power, after having plunged the Labour Party into an existential crisis.
There are only 10 of these telephone boxes with postbox and stamp machines left in Britain. (Only 50 were ever made). When I lived in Whitley Bay I walked past it so many times without realising it's so rare.

Arab Barghouthi joined @MassiveAttackUK on stage at Berlin's Citadel Music Festival, calling for the release of his father, Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti ✌️
“We need to remember that my father, Marwan Barghouti, represents something that Israel cannot imprison. Hope.
Hope for a better future.
Hope for Palestinian children to live in peace.
Hope for freedom.
And always remember that hope is the biggest threat to the oppressors.” – Arab Barghouthi

Joy Division’s legendary performance of “She’s Lost Control” on the BBC’s Something Else show (recorded Sept 1, 1979, broadcast Sept 15) is one of post-punk’s defining moments. Filmed in a stark, unadorned Manchester studio, this rare national television appearance perfectly captured the bleak beauty, mechanical rhythms, and raw emotional intensity of the band.

Governments delete webpages. Agencies scrub reports. Politicians' statements vanish from official sites the week they become inconvenient.
It happens in every country, under every party, and it works because nobody kept a copy.
ArchiveBox makes keeping a copy trivial.
It's a self-hosted archiver built for exactly this. Point it at the pages that matter and it freezes them:
→ Timestamped screenshots and PDFs
→ Raw HTML and HTTP headers
→ WARC files that replay the page as it was
→ Scheduled re-captures, so you have a record of every version over time
Run it on a schedule against government portals, news sites, or any source you expect to change quietly. Each snapshot lands in a plain folder with JSON metadata.
The Wayback Machine can't watch everything, and it can be pressured, sued, or blocked.
A thousand people each archiving what they care about cannot be.
History gets rewritten by whoever controls the record. This puts a copy of the record on your disk.
