For anyone new:

x402 makes the web billable per request, but most implementations still hinge on a single relay box. If that box throttles, censors, or goes dark, the payment path collapses.

Facora replaces that fragility with a mesh of independent operators on BNB. Callers sign intent, operators sponsor gas and move USDx or USD1 on-chain, and the API unlocks only after verifiable settlement evidence, not screenshots.

Multiple operators introduce redundancy, geographic diversity, and real-time fee competition, so continuity isn’t tied to one machine or team.

For builders, it’s a clean abstraction: return 402, pick an operator, verify the on-chain attestation, serve the response. For the ecosystem, it’s the difference between a demo and durable rails for agents paying agents at scale.
