FACT CHECK-AJ&K
◼️Claim
A video circulating on social media falsely claims that Action Committee protesters apprehended an individual allegedly conducting surveillance on behalf of the government.
◼️Fact Check
The video contains significant inconsistencies, as some social media accounts claim the incident occurred in Dadyal, while others are sharing the same footage and identifying the location as Neelum.
◼️Official government sources have confirmed that the location shown in the video is neither in Dadyal nor Neelum. In fact, the location does not fall within AJ&K.
Conclusion:
The contradictory location claims made by multiple accounts, coupled with findings from official investigations, confirm that the video is fabricated and is being deliberately circulated on social media to mislead and incite the public.
FACT CHECK
◼️ BBC Urdu has published a report claiming that police in Pakistan-administered Kashmir stopped civilians carrying food, medicines and fuel and ordered them to destroy these supplies.
◼️ The report’s headline and central allegation rely entirely on the account of a single anonymous source (“Naveed”, a pseudonym). No video evidence, independent witnesses, official record, or third-party verification has been provided to substantiate this serious claim.
◼️ The report itself carries statements from police and district authorities rejecting the allegation and stating that supply vehicles are being facilitated, while disruptions are primarily linked to protest-related road blockades. (The official AJ&K police press release confirming the uninterrupted accessibility of the road is attached).
◼️In a press conference jointly addressed by Chief Secretary AJ&K and Inspector General of Police (IGP) AJ&K on 23 June, such claims were categorically refuted. The officials provided facts, stating that inconvenience on roads was caused by protestors of proscribed Action Committee who tried to stop and loot trucks laden with commodities arriving in AJ&K. The same were later secured and recovered by law enforcement agencies.
◼️This establishes the fact that routes remain open for all types of traffic. The link to complete press conference and subsequent news clippings are attached for reference.

Fact: The use of a single poor source of information by a reputable and old news service is both unfortunate and deplorable. The article does not provide evidence sufficient to support the headline allegation. The claim that police forced civilians to destroy food, medicines, or fuel is incorrect and being misused for purposes of narrativization.
Truth Prevails over Falsehood
Claim: Certain accounts of proscribed JAAC claim that Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz resigned from his post.
Reality: Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz is a distinguished officer from Kashmir who has served the country with dedication, professionalism and commitment. He continues to serve in Pakistan Army.
This claim is part of a recurring propaganda narrative spread by inimical Social Media accounts backed by anti-state hostile networks. Such narratives are aimed at misleading the public of Pakistan, particularly the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
incident as an infiltration or exfiltration operation appears speculative and misleading. Available facts point more towards a personal and humanitarian matter, while the Indian media coverage prioritizes unverified allegations over a balanced, fact-based account.
🟠Claim
Indian media reports allege that a resident of Azad Jammu and Kashmir identified as Zeeshan Ahmad Mir was apprehended while attempting to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector, with reports sensationalizing it as a foiled exfiltration/terror infiltration bid.
This kind of reporting reinforces findings from past statistics that have ranked Indian media among the leading sources of misinformation and propaganda globally.*

Fact Check – Public Information Department, Azad Jammu & Kashmir
A misleading and malicious social media post is being circulated regarding the visit of a Senior Pakistan Army Officer to a bereaved family in Muzaffarabad.
The facts are as follows:
The Officer visited the family of Muhammad Yaqub shaheed, a civilian shopkeeper, who lost his life during India's illegal strike on a mosque in Muzaffarabad on night 6/7 May 2025. The visit was for condolence, solidarity and support to the bereaved family. The individual visible in the picture is a local neighbour of the family.
The attempt to label the deceased as a terrorist, without evidence, is completely false, irresponsible and part of a coordinated disinformation campaign aimed at justifying Indian aggression and maligning innocent Kashmiri victims.
It is particularly bizarre that certain Afghan media-linked social media accounts are amplifying such unverified allegations. This only exposes the increasingly visible nexus between Indian and Afghan prop.
‼️FACT CHECK: INDIAN PROPAGANDA OF FOILING AN INFILTRATION BID IN INDIAN ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED JAMMU AND KASHMIR‼️
Major Indian media outlets, including The Times of India, NDTV, ANI News, Republic TV reported that “the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch and eliminated a “Pakistan-sponsored terrorist". The claim was amplified by numerous RAW sponsored accounts.
The claim is frivolous and false as it gives an impression that terrorist camps exist in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, which is absolutely false. Pakistan has, on numerous occasions rejected such claims in the past and maintains that there are no terrorist camps in Pakistani territory.
Unfortunately, on the pretext of terrorism, the Indian State has unleashed oppression against innocent civilians in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. There is documented evidence where the Indian Law Enforcement has indulged in extra judicial killing of local population on the pretext of terrorism. The mantra of cross border terrorists is a leaf from the Indian playbook used as ruse to build false allegations against Pakistan.
AJ&K FACT CHECK
🟠 Claim:
Indian media claimed that a women’s wing allegedly linked to JeM and LeT, called “Jamat-ul-Mominat,” held rallies in Pakistan, portraying it as evidence of expanding LeT activities.
🔎 Content Type:
The claim relies on unverified allegations and selectively used video clips amplified by Indian media and propaganda accounts on social media.
✅ Reality:
▫️The clips are actually from Marqa-e-Haq rallies organized by the Pakistan Muslim Women League, the women’s wing of Pakistan Markazi Muslim League — a political party registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan that contested the 2024 general elections. The rallies were held in multiple cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad, and Kasur, and the footage was later misrepresented by Indian media to push propaganda narratives.

📍 Conclusion:
The claim is baseless propaganda aimed at spreading misleading narratives to undermine Pakistan’s internationally acknowledged success in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.
AJ&K FACT CHECK
🟠 Claim:
Pakistan has reactivated 70 terror launchpads in PoK, with 800 militants ready for infiltration
🔎 Type of Content:
Claimed by an Indian local media outlet named IANS Live.
🔍 Reputable Outlets Cross-Check:
Apart from Indian local media outlet and India-based propaganda accounts on social media, no independent, international, or neutral outlet has reported, verified, or corroborated this allegation claim.
✅ Reality:
▫️The report by IANS Live claiming that “Pakistan has reactivated 70 terror launchpads in PoK, with 800 terrorists ready for infiltration” is entirely baseless and constitutes false propaganda. It must be viewed in the context of recent geopolitical developments, as well as a recurring pattern wherein India has historically accused Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism during periods of significant political activity.
▫️At present, India is undergoing assembly elections in multiple states, where the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) faces the risk of losing its majority amid growing public dissatisfaction. This dissatisfaction is linked to failures of governance, the use of illegal force and aggression against civilians in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur, widespread corruption, and a complete neglect of citizens’ welfare.
▫️In this context, sections of the Indian media have a history of diverting public attention from governance failures by fostering a climate of war hysteria. Reports of this nature serve to shape false narratives and may be used to create a pretext for potential false flag operations, similar to the Pahalgam attack. In that instance, international media specifically French outlet "France24" highlighted India's use of AI-generated content and misleading images and videos circulated on social media to construct and reinforce a false narrative against Pakistan.
▫️Moreover, amid Pakistan’s growing diplomatic visibility, particularly in facilitating peace dialogue during the Iran-US conflict, a parallel stream of narratives has emerged from segments of the Indian media aimed at undermining Islamabad’s role on the global stage. While International reporting acknowledge Pakistan’s involvement in maintaining communication channels, competing claims have simultaneously surfaced on India media asserting that Pakistan has “no role” at all. Analysts view this as reflective of broader regional rivalry, wherein Pakistan’s diplomatic gains are often countered through dis-information campaigns and flase narrative framing by India.
📍 Conclusion:
This is yet another instance of false propaganda by Indian media portraying Pakistan as a “terror-sponsoring state,” in line with India’s longstanding foreign policy narrative, rather than its recognition as a “peace-making state,” as reflected in international media and acknowledged by leaders including U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as officials from Iran, Arab states, and others. The BJP-led regime appears to be diverting attention from governance failures and unrest in Manipur during ongoing assembly elections, amid fears of electoral setback and loss of majority. Such reporting may also be used to justify potential false flag operations, a concern repeatedly raised by Pakistan’s intelligence apparatus. It is to be clearly stated that any false flag operation followed by unlawful aggression against Pakistan will be met with a firm, swift, and comprehensive response by the Pakistan Armed Forces across all domains.
🟠 Claim:
The Secretary Health’s request for a one-day exemption has been approved, and Secretary Health Amir Raza Tipu has been ordered to appear in court today; otherwise, an arrest warrant will be issued.
✅ Reality:
◼️This claim is misleading and appears to be framed in a manner that projects a predetermined narrative aimed at the character assassination of the Secretary Health. The tone of the news story draws an alleged conclusion that the Secretary Health is directly accountable, whereas, in reality, this is an ongoing case in which the honourable court has merely summoned the Secretary to provide justification regarding delays.
◼️The actual facts differ significantly, as outlined in the investigative report. The delay in the case occurred due to marks verification, which does not fall within the jurisdiction of the Health Department. The department repeatedly communicated with the Mirpurkhas Board for verification; however, the board was unable to respond favourably due to its own administrative commitments, including audit processes and the SSC Examination 2026.
◼️Despite multiple official letters and even follow-ups through informal channels such as WhatsApp, the board did not provide timely verification. On the other hand, IBCC attestation already confirms that the marks obtained were authentic, as IBCC is the competent sanctioning authority.
◼️The discrepancy in marks was identified as a clerical oversight within the Health Department; however, this had no material impact on eligibility, as the candidate remained qualified for the position even with the lower marks.
◼️As per court directives, the department has been making consistent efforts since December 2025 to ensure verification of the relevant documents. Complete evidence of correspondence, including documented records and screenshots, has been attached to the report. This demonstrates that the department has been actively complying with court orders, and the delay is attributable to circumstances at the board’s end rather than any negligence on the part of the Secretary Health.
◼️Therefore, allegations against the Secretary Health and the Public Health Department are unfounded. Such reporting appears to prioritise narrative-building over factual accuracy, potentially creating confusion and undermining public trust in institutions and respected individuals in society who pinpoint and try to reform the corrupt and inefficient elements within the institute and the society.
📍 Conclusion:
This case reflects highly unprofessional and seemingly orchestrated reporting, where certain journalists, for monetary benefits, prioritise partial information and misleading narratives over complete and verified facts. Such practices contribute to the defamation of respected individuals and institutions, foster public confusion and distrust, and may ultimately incite unnecessary negativity and disillusionment within society.

◼️Two rudimentary drones of terrorist FAK,nurtured by Afghan Taliban regime, were successfully intercepted by the Pakistan security forces using electronic counter measures. No military or other infrastructure was hit, other than minor damage due to debris of the forced crashing of drones.
◼️ The Taliban regime claim includes no verifiable evidence as always, however fully exposes its established role as Master Proxy of terrorism harbouring and supporting multiple terrorist organisations such as Indian proxies FAK and FAH.
◼️ Taliban regime official accounts including this so called Ministry of Defence account are known to regularly proliferate fake news and propaganda including recent frivolous claims of shooting down Pakistan AirForce aircraft and capturing of pilots which they unashamedly later deleted.

Recurring claims like these fuel anti-Pakistan rhetoric to distract Indian public from domestic governance failures under the Narendra Modi government.
They are also cited to justify inhumane crackdowns in Indian Occupied J&K and to create pretext for a false flag.
✅ Reality:
◾️The claim by India’s White Knight Corps about an alleged infiltration in Bhimber Gali Sector (LoC) on 4 March 2026 rests solely on unverified assertions — with no satellite/UAV imagery, neutral monitoring reports, or third-party verification made public.
