My husband had talked about it several times, we aren't baby boomers….who are we? We were born in 1960 & 63. It's great to know so many others understand the same feeling. I remember being in gas lines in calif with my parents during Carter. You could only get gas on your Odd/even days, based on your license plate.

@RandyButler62 @CheyCab Bingo! Being able to read English has been required for a CDL for many years and you are correct about the issue with foreigners. Their cracker jack licenses are taking over American trucking

@Poncho30954 @CheyCab Her “truckers” aren't long haul. They drive a cab (no trailer) off the production line to the dealership and she gives then a lift to the airport. She doesn't know real trucking
