Building Drento. Turning one prompt into complete, premium app designs. Sharing the wins, failures & weird AI experiments 👇

From one prompt to a complete, premium product design.

A single, coherent visual language across every page. No templates. No drift.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

One prompt to a full app design.

Today I made the wireframe step optional in Drento. Now you can go straight from an idea to a polished UI.

So close to launch.

Do you prefer seeing wireframes first, or jumping straight to the final design?

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@thenamanraj Honestly just read only tasks right now. Anything that writes or deletes still needs me watching.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@kamilbaranek_ It's me my account was dead during the last few weeks

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

Copying the layout of an app you like beats starting from a blank canvas, at least for your first version. Copy first, or blank page?

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@thenamanraj Still 0

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@alexabelonix Yeah especially on the banned countries I hope crypto will become more common in the future

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@manu_zurcher GDG London sticker is doing a lot of work on that lid. Yours actually looks curated, mine would just be a pile of random hackathon shirts turned stickers 😅.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@TheXSami Congrats on shipping it! Jumping from web to mobile is no small thing, what tripped you up the most, the platform APIs or just the different mental model for screens?

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@acadictive Same problem on every platform honestly, DMs are treated like an afterthought everywhere. The fact you had to manually dig through 9 months just to resurface stuff says the search and organization layer is basically missing.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@itsvlady API is you calling a function. MCP is giving the AI a menu of functions and letting it decide which to call. Same food, different waiter.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@elshayib_ Wondering what Hermes and OpenClaw are actually doing that those three aren't, genuinely asking not being snarky.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@JulienZammit1 The raw sql three files away is always the part that gets you. You think you know the flow until you actually trace it and find the one function nobody remembers writing.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@AdamFard_ The design system part is the real issue. A tool can nail colors and spacing and still spit out something that doesn't actually fit your system, because it was never looking at your system in the first place.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@builtwithrubel MRR, easy. Followers don't pay your hosting bill and plenty of big accounts can't sell a thing.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@pelloiafilippo What's the one thing it showed you that actually changed how you think about your screens?

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@kamilbaranek_ The second one

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@kamilbaranek_ 7 months

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

Auth on a new app: Clerk or Auth0 so you never touch password resets, or a library with users in your own database? I keep going back and forth.

[Fadi Hares @fadihares95]

@itsvlady LinkedIn it's useless
