Both things can be true at once.
You were allowed to say no. 2 a.m. when you’re exhausted is a fair no, and he took it. He kissed your forehead and went back to sleep. That’s not pressure.
What he said the next day wasn’t “you owe me sex.” It was “I miss feeling wanted.” Those aren’t the same sentence. A lot of people hear the second one as an accusation because it lands on guilt, so they shut it down before it can turn into a fight. That’s understandable. It also means he never actually got to say the thing he was trying to say.
