@PT_CROW I was once farming a gathering currency by fishing in ffxiv so “efficiently” and for so long that someone brought a mob over to try to kill me because they thought I was botting. I put the rod away, turned around, and just said “why” in chat. They ran away

@Mikahaha_ You can still have that. Those fcs exist. It just requires the people running it to keep it alive. We had 15 people standing outside my fc house last night, and chat looked like a twitch stream.

@beelirious @EENlX I really wish they made it an accessibility setting. It still looked really cool, and I am sad for everyone that it got changed outright. I know we can take medicine for the motion sickness, but we shouldn’t have to in order to play the game.

@EENlX On one hand, I am happy I can do the alliance raid now without getting motion sick. On the other, I wish there was an accessibility setting I could turn on for stuff like this so people who don’t get motion sick can keep the cool visual they did. It genuinely looked so neat :(

@AxSouLo @LostAsakura He had them in the past, but he’s really grown as a person. That’s the difference. He admitted to mistakes and made changes rather than doubling down, and current Happy is a good pillar of the community.

@grasaldor @schwrzlicht These are two separate solutions they came up with to combat congestion, but combined together creates worlds that are cut off from the larger community. Cross region of would indeed fix this. But I think that closing down worlds during peak hours was a terrible decision.

@grasaldor @schwrzlicht I’m just speaking from Aether. Last patch, every single world was considered congested. During peak hours, you cannot visit Aether at all nor visit between worlds. But peak hours start here in the afternoon. People cannot do hunts on our own dc. That is what I complain about.

@grasaldor @schwrzlicht And the congested worlds used to allow people to make characters there at low pop times. Since EW, congested means they are fully locked. We stay locked for several patches at a time. So someone could be stuck playing on another dc and can’t even dc visit their friend right now.

@grasaldor @schwrzlicht You are correct, and that’s not what I would suggest. The main problem right now is congested worlds fully shut down to any dc or world travel once they hit an unknown login threshold. This means everyone from aether and crystal is locked out of cross world activities by midday

@TaleraRis @SmuggestSage I know it’s the way it has been, but at this point, giving info about stuff coming out in the final patch all the way at fanfest is hurting rather than making people excited about it. The roadmap has been out this whole time. It doesn’t change that people aren’t excited anymore
