@LionOfUlster What about the “Ireland’s call” but change the words? Instead of Ireland Ireland together standing tall - how about Northern Ireland together standing talk?
Truly grateful for and blessed by the many opportunities and trials I faced and met. Proud of my achievements and knowing I gave it my best. Hoping NIRGS continues to go from strength to strength.
My principle feelings on retiring are of gratitude and humility. I am grateful to and truly humbled by the courageous, strong and wonderful patients and families I had the opportunity, experiences and pleasure of trying to help in their often difficult and painful journeys.
Today I received my complimentary copy of a new textbook as I wrote one of the chapters. Just one week before I retire (early!) after devoting over 20 years to genetic counselling and the Northern Ireland Regional Genetics Service.
I'm not sure what NI Regional Genetics Service is going to do since the legend that is Aoife Bradley, Genetic Nurse Counsellor extraordinaire has retired. Forgot to post this photo previously; she will be missed! ❤️ #trailblazer#genetics#genomics
