@sambuckss research linguistics from latam, but thats mostly because i dont use latam lingo, at least that i know of. ive caught myself using ebonics incorrectly a few times while using the internet, and ive personally researched what it is and stopped using it because im not black.

@sambuckss respect is something thats earned, if people refuse to educate themselves on ebonics and use the terms wrong while insisting its “just internet slang” and that theyre allowed to say it because “they learnt it on the internet” then rhey shouldnt be mad when they get a taste of —
