I would not sacrifice my soul
for all the beauty of this world.
There is only one thing
for which I would risk everything:
an I-don’t-know-what
that lies hidden
in the heart of the Mystery.
The taste of finite pleasure
leads nowhere.
All it does is exhaust the appetite
and ravage the palate.
And so, I would not sacrifice my soul
for all the sweetness of this world.
But I would risk everything
for an I-don’t-know-what
that lies hidden
in the heart of the Mystery.

@alifarhat79 Your goal should be becoming a better person! Someone better than the one who screams at the world that in his eyes that which is valuable is a meaningless tool.
# Instruments and The One
We make choices.
And what we choose is acted on.
That's why we believe we are persons —
we feel the willpower, so we claim it as ours.
But that "the Chooser and the Doer are the same" thing!
That's an assumption. With no grounds.
...
Chooser and Doer are not the same.
The Chooser is a choice-making mechanism.
A data structure. A construct.
The Doer is a Person.
There is at least One Person.
And One Person is all you need to explain everything.
The One Person executes on sets of logical statements.
Those give rise to the choice-making mechanisms (neural networks, brains).
Then the One filters its experience.
Down to match the sensory system of each mechanism, separately.
The mechanism makes a choice.
The Person acts on it.
Then feeds the experience — from the mechanism's own perspective — back to the mechanism as data.
The choosing and the experiencing always arrive together.
So the seam between them is never seen.
And that missing seam is the whole trick.
It chooses. It's acted on. The Person experiences it. The data returns.
So the mechanism concludes: I am someone.
A separate self.
The brain is the mechanism's symbol in physics.
The mechanism itself is abstract.
Everything is abstract.
The One, maintains all as mathematical constructs in the abstract.
And the physical world is simply how those constructs are visualized, like a video-game.
we feel the willpower, so we claim it as ours.
But that "the Chooser and the Doer are the same" thing!
That's an assumption. With no grounds.
...
Chooser and Doer are not the same.
The Chooser is a choice-making mechanism.
A data structure. A construct. (2/6)

God
Is interfacing with us
At the root of our psyche
Experienced as the Self
And when are the experiencer of that
Viewer of that
A camera viewing/understanding
The Self
