Honored to have received the Best Poster Prize at the American Urological Association Annual Meeting #AUA2026 in Washington DC. Our work on total preservation of the intraprostatic Urethra during robot-assisted radical prostatectomy generated valuable discussions and interest.
130 people were killed and more than 1,000 wounded in Gaza this weekend.
People are starving. Many were shot by the Israeli military while simply trying to get food.
This is completely insane and unacceptable.
No more U.S. military aid to Israel.
There’s been a lot of misinformation about what’s happening in Syria, with plenty of falsified reports and fake photos being spread by supporters of the Assad regime, the PKK, and Iran. Claims about civilians being targeted on the Syrian coast need to be examined carefully, especially when we see cases like Muqdad Fatiha, who was photographed in a Public Security uniform before carrying out acts of terrorism. Assad loyalists have also been known to disguise themselves in civilian clothing, adding to the confusion.
What’s undeniable is that many civilians have been killed- but the real question is by whom. We don’t yet know how many were killed by people like Fatiha and his affiliates versus how many were killed by Damascus or its allied militias. What we do know is that, so far, Damascus is the only actor taking responsibility and implementing measures to protect civilians. Western media outlets like AP need to do a much better job at fact-checking before amplifying IRGC-linked misinformation.
Thrilled an honored to get to present three of our current clinical studies in the German robotic urology Congress #DRUS23 in #dresden. I also want to raise awareness for prostate cancer by participating in #movemeber2023 https://t.co/1jGIPKqYcC
Our research results were presented at the joint Asian and Emirati Urological Association Congress. It was an honor to share our findings and to make new friends and catch up with old ones. Thank you to the UAA - EUSC Dubai 2023 Congress for hosting such a great event.
It's always a pleasure to see a big mentor of mine @alexmottrie, colleagues and friends, @NNHarke and @Ruben_De_Groote , in action, doing amazing job sharing tips and tricks on perfecting a robot-assisted partial nephrectomy and pyeloplasty.#ERUS23,@Uroweb,@orsiacademy
Our team had the privilege of presenting our data at one of the world's largest congresses on robotic surgery. We were honored to exchange ideas and experiences with talented experts in the field. A big thank you to the organizers. #ERUS23#uroweb
Extremely delighted to share publication of our multicentric study in EU Onco.
Summary: off- clamp RAPN is not associated with better functional outcomes albeit it is associated with increased rates of conversion to radical nephrectomy and need for blood transfusion.
