Bizarre that Mandelson is claiming that @jeremycorbyn is the reason that the Labour lost the #HartlepoolByElection so badly.
2019: Brexit Party 26%, CON 27.6%.
2021: Brexit Party n/a, CON 51.9%; it's simply Brexit voters returning to their true home, the Conservative Party.
These anti-Corbyn Labour recriminations are getting a bit silly now. Corbyn announces he's resigning..."Not good enough! He must go now!"...resigns tomorrow..."Not good enough! He must resign as an MP!"...resigns as MP..."Not good enough! He must throw himself off a cliff!" etc.
Why are the Tories so adamant that there isn't a Scottish #indyref2? Why not allow one if the voters want one? What are they so scared of? Are they afraid they'll lose the argument in a potential independence campaign? Are they saying that Scottish voters are "wrong"? #ridge
@bbclaurak@bbclaurak So, you have a genuine story here, in that your two sources (presumably your usual "senior Tories") deliberately lied to you about the incident in a fairly obvious piece of desperate deflection and spin. Why don't you report that, and name them?
@bbclaurak I'm unconvinced of the veracity of this "story", for three reasons: (1) you have no corroboration, (2) you have history of spinning for the Tory party and (3) why would they send Matt Hancock? Even for a Conservative, he is colossally inept and would only make the matter worse!
How long until Laura Kuenssberg says that four year old Jack Williment-Barr is "a Labour activist"? I think this might be her angle for the six o'clock bulletin.

And another thing. They all use the same phrase: "lifelong Labour voter". None say "I've always voted Labour" or "I'm traditionally a Labour voter" or anything else, It's always "lifelong Labour voter". Have they been instructed to say this? #BBCbias
Surprise! @BBCNewsnight are in another heavily Leave constituency interviewing more "lifelong Labour voters" who have all decided to vote Conservative. Not every Labour voter is going to switch to the Tories; the BBC are definitely seeking out these people deliberately. #BBCbias
@michaelgove Eh? The reason that @BorisJohnson hasn't turned up is because @jeremycorbyn (who has turned up) is "scared" to debate him? What kind of bizarre reasoning is that?
I think that the BBC are definitely pro-Conservative, but others tell me that I only see that because I'm a Labour supporter. However, this is a pretty blatant. I can't see how anyone can argue that it's not been intentionally edited to make Boris Johnson look less bad.
Yet another editorial mistake? @BBCNews has edited out the audience laughing at Johnson when questioned on trust
The first part is the actual footage, the second is from BBC News at 1pm today
Surley now we all clearly see this propaganda for what it is?
@ElectionMapsUK @SavantaComRes Looking not bad at all! It was CON 47 - LAB 33 at the same point (i.e. same time until the election) in 2017. #VoteLabour2019
Nearly 4 million people have registered to vote in the last two months!
https://t.co/HnxCS8YUlR
Vast majority are young voters (who are generally pro-Labour). Fairly few new voters in the over-65, pro-Tory bracket. New voters can swing this election!

@RachelRileyRR I wish you'd go back to tweeting about the positive educational value of maths and engineering. Your enthusiasm could be (and has in the past been) really valuable in encouraging young people into STEM careers.
@andrewfeinstein@MetroUK This whole issue seems to have made a few people become a little unhinged (see also Rachel Riley). If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
There's been a lot of reporting on the #FactCheckUK debacle today. Almost every political reporter has been pretty damning; "a juvenile stunt", "dystopian", "a backfire", etc.
All except one, who dismissed the furore as "a daft row".
Can you guess who that might have been?
It just occurred to me that we haven't heard from Jacob Rees-Mogg at all during the #GE2019 campaign. Has he been locked in a cupboard at CCHQ (sorry, #FactCheckuk HQ) or something?
So @joswinson would seemingly gleefully press the button to use nuclear weapons if she was PM? I can't possibly vote for anyone who takes this view. Nuclear weapons are a lose-lose scenario no matter what the circumstances. #ITVinterviews
