BREAKING: @nathanlawkc wins Magnitsky Award, presented by Lord (Chris) Patten.
Proud and moved. But it’s a pride tarnished by the tragedy and hopelessness of the situation - and the sacrifices of so many.
Still, we #StandwithHongKong
#HongKongers: Today as I begin my new full-time role as Chief Executive of the organisation I envisioned & co-founded less than 3 yrs ago, @hk_watch,
I write this personally as a pledge to you👇
I'm in this fight for freedom with you - for #HongKong & the world
All the way ❤️🙏
The Chinese Communist Party knew how virulent the coronavirus was. They censored and disappeared whistleblowers and journalists who tried to sound the alarm. The CCP is the culprit for a global pandemic that’s killed more than 200,000 Americans – and nearly 1M people worldwide.
A vote for Republicans is a vote for safe communities, great jobs, and a limitless future for ALL Americans. Instead of letting Washington change us, despite all that we have been through, we are changing Washington! https://t.co/WwzdPhlJcp
I love the headline.🇺🇸allies shouldn't be anxious abt a #BeijingPervJoe win. This election is abt who can rebuild🇺🇸economy by creating 10 million jobs/end🇺🇸reliance on🇨🇳/hold🇨🇳accountable 4 #ChinaVirus damages/provide safety & security in🇺🇸/defend🇺🇸values. https://t.co/vCBM6IsOJ7
Deeply disturbed that Hong Kong democracy activists, arrested two weeks ago, have been denied access to lawyers of their choice. We hope Chief Executive Lam’s stated commitment to protecting the rights of Hong Kong residents is more than just words.
