With only 29 exceptions @Keir_Starmer and his Labour MP cronies abstained in the Commons yesterday during the vote on pensions and benefit cuts.
They stood by offering no opposition and watched the Tories make the poorest even poorer.
Utterly shameful.
Here is Boris Johnson writing about the predicament he finds himself in, and why he still can’t bring himself to resign.
It’s surprisingly honest and insightful. Possibly because he wrote it in 2006, about Tony Blair.
When you hear Rishi Sunak propose a £200 *loan* as a solution for households facing energy bills rocketing by £693, remember:
He's the richest MP, who last night in Parliament pushed through a tax cut for bankers worth £1,000,000,000 a year.
Sunak's on their side, not yours.
@360Art_Design @jonlis1 To be fair I had more regard for Brown when he left than when he started. And Major. But def not Thatcher - it just gave her a stage to show her near psychopathy.
Seems we’re in a spot of financial bother with inflation rising, energy costs soaring and Brexit project fear becoming reality. Maybe put up the top rate of tax for the wealthy to help us out (and, yes, me included). Perhaps even the super rich non doms might help…greed sucks.
