Welcome.
I'm documenting the journey.
Buying apartment complexes.
Converting W2 taxes into real estate.
Watches.
Cardboard.
Dinosaurs.
I'll share the wins.
I'll share the mistakes.
I'll share what I learn.
Bet Bigger.
Fail Bigger.
@patrickbetdavid I bought this Lamine Yamal card before World Cup. Online says it’s worth $110,000 today. Would be hard not to take that price, but in 10 years I’ll probably regret it. But at least we had fun buying a sick card
@jonbrooks My loans are around 7%, and I’m still buying. I’d rather own great assets bought at the right price than wait years hoping rates bail me out.
Got my first mortgage statement for our off market Fourplex. Rents $1,000 each, which is why we closed it 100k under market value. Plan is to raise rents to $1,450 out the gates
@kevinxu@blackhousecap Love the full port idea with a smaller account to start! Full focus on one stock. I did make the margins mistake starting. Won’t do that again
@Alecco I’m all in on $HIMS for my 30k to 100k account. The rest in index funds, company stock and real estate…and of course 100k Lamine Yamal rookie card
@realEstateTrent Smart man. I keep 95%+ in index funds and real estate. The other 5% is for trying to find the next 10x. Keeps me disciplined and lets me sleep at night.
@neppy I had the money. I had the investments. I was golfing, working out, and spending time outside.
I was still miserable.
What I was missing wasn’t more money. It was having a goal to chase every day.
Inspection came back with these two cracks.
Contractor is coming out this week.
If this was a deal you were buying, what’s your next move?
Walk away, negotiate, or keep moving?
@wealth_director I took a month off and learned something surprising. I didn’t miss the paycheck. I missed having a mission. Financial freedom gives you the choice to work. Purpose gives you the reason.
