The first of 94 trains have arrived in Germany for testing, ahead of entering service in 2025 💙
New @merseyrail trains were introduced last month. Each carriage has a bay of four tip-up seats that create space for prams and pushchairs (and other luggage), separate from the spaces for wheelchairs and bikes.
Merseyrail’s first new class 777 train officially entered passenger service today🚊
The new train departed from Liverpool Central to Kirkby, it was fantastic to see so many passengers present to mark the monumental occasion.

Take a look at the new Piccadilly Line trains - they have wider doors and longer, walk-through, air-conditioned carriages. Transport for London (TfL) says the trains will make journeys faster, more frequent and more reliable. Passengers will get to use them from 2025.
