I agree - communications is key particularly regarding the rationale, which I’m sure is evidence-based, of maintaining ‘wet’ pub closure. No reason to hold it back; might even help.
This greatly saddens us, but we understand the depth of anger and frustration. If we are losing good people like John and Shane P, then we are doing something wrong.
➡️Disappointing to see @daracalleary miss out on a senior ministry.
➡️ Reinforces the sense that those in power have little interest in rural Ireland.
🟢As Patrick Hillery said, “The nation needs the services of all the talent it can find”.

“We canvassed in the last General Election to return Fianna Fáil to Government. We will fight to ensure that this new government is held to account on the mandate it has been given in the General Election and on this ballot of members."

@HerlihyRonan@feely_brid That’s not what is on the ballot paper Ronan. Government with Fine Gael is what members are being asked to decide on. Best of luck on Friday. #BroadChurch
Ahhhh that’s grand so.... 😮
Fianna Fáil members didn’t canvass to put a Fine Gael Housing Minister at the cabinet table.
480,000 people didn’t vote for Fianna Fáil to give Fine Gael “another chance at housing”.
Vote NO ❌ to this bad deal.

@HerlihyRonan@feely_brid Hi Ronan 👋🏻! We didn’t campaign for this and the 484,000 people who voted for us were told that Government with FG didn’t represent change. Here’s one of our spokespeople explaining
Cllr. Mikey Sheehy and his family have delivered time and time again for the people of Kerry 🟢🟡
Mikey is one of many councillors across Ireland voting NO❌ to this bad deal for rural Ireland.
Bad for Kerry ✅
Bad for Fianna Fáil ✅
Bad for Ireland✅

I was leaning towards no a no vote for a few reasons but hearing @MichealMartinTD on @NewstalkFM saying that we could have an FG Minister for housing has got pen to paper.I realise there is a lot undecided as of yet (another issue),but this really should have been. #PfG#housing
@fiannafailparty Why have you posted a picture of my house, with the address? I saw it in passing on a FF Facebook page. I am not a member of any political party.
Some Fianna Fáil councillors in Munster came together in a BRILLIANT op-ed in Today's Irish Examiner:
"These are core Fianna Fáil values, but they are absent from the deal negotiated by Micheál Martin."

"Cllr. Fionnán Fitzgerald says he is voting against the proposed Programme for Government because he’s very concerned about its contents regarding agriculture and rural communities."
