Yes. This was not new to him. He immediately went into "starfish" position, which is maneuvering your body to float flat on your back with your head tilted flat/slightly back so you can breathe. This is what they teach infants to do in swimming lessons - it is survival. Though it may be tough to watch, that child is prepared and will survive if he ever falls into a body of water with no one around. Good job mom and dad.
