شہدائے ماڈل ٹاؤن کے ورثاء 12 برس سے صبر و استقامت اور پُرامن قانونی جدوجہد کے ساتھ انصاف کے ہر دروازے پر دستک دے رہے ہیں، مگر تاحال آئین و قانون کے مطابق سانحہ ماڈل ٹاؤن کی تحقیقات بھی مکمل نہیں ہوسکیں۔ سپریم کورٹ کے حکم پر بننے والی JIT کا نوٹیفکیشن مارچ 2019 سے لاہور ہائیکورٹ نے معطل کر رکھا ہے، JIT کیس میں دونوں طرف کے وکلا بحث مکمل کر چکے ہیں مگر فیصلہ نہیں سنایا جا رہا۔ ہماری چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان سے بارِ دگر استدعا ہے کہ وہ JIT کو رپورٹ پیش کرنے کی راہ میں حائل رکاوٹیں دور کروائیں۔ غیر جانبدارانہ اور منصفانہ تفتیش سے ہی فیئر ٹرائل کے قانونی تقاضے پورے ہوں گے۔ اس وقت JIT کی رپورٹ نہ آنے کی وجہ سے انصاف کا عمل التوا کا شکار ہے، ہم شہداء کے ورثاء کے شانہ بشانہ پاکستان کے چوٹی کے وکلاء اور لاء چیمبرز سے مل کر قانونی چارہ جوئی کر رہے ہیں اور آخری سانس تک حصول انصاف کیلئے جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے۔

اس موقع پر میں حصول انصاف کیلئے ثابت قدمی اور استقامت کے ساتھ قانونی چارہ جوئی میں مصروف شہداء کے ورثا، چشم دید گواہان کو بھی شاباش دیتا ہوں کہ وہ ہر طرح کے خوف، لالچ اور دباؤ کو مسترد کرکے انصاف کیلئے ہر سطح کی عدالتوں میں پیش ہو رہے ہیں اور گواہیاں دے رہے ہیں۔ میں شہدائے ماڈل ٹاؤن کے درجات کی بلندی کیلئے اللہ رب العزت کے حضور دعاگو ہوں۔ ہمارا ایمان ہے کہ معصوموں کا بہنے والا خون اور یہ قربانیاں رائیگاں نہیں جائیں گی۔
